Admission Overview for Continuing Education - Non-Credit Courses

Continuing Studies has built professional programs upon the firm foundation of the University's tradition of excellence and uses the standards of professional associations as the blueprint.  These courses are designed to help you learn the best practices from professionals who are subject matter experts and who work in the field.

Continuing Studies offers a variety of programs on-line including Project Management, Leadership, Six Sigma, Human Resources and Contract Management. These classes are listed at www.villanovau.com

One of our most popular programs, the
Certificate in Professional Human Resource Management  is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management.  Villanova is the nation’s oldest and largest provider of this program leading to the addition of a new SHRM sponsored program, The Essentials of Human Resource Management.  Similarly, another new program in Organizational Development can help HR professionals meet the training goals of their organizations.

Other non-credit programs include the American Bar Association approved Paralegal program that is well recognized throughout the region. Students can choose either day or evening programs. Our certificate programs in Project Management have expanded greatly in response to the demand to help managers learn how to operate more competitively. These programs are offered in cooperation with Project Management Institute (PMI) and include Foundations in Project Management, PMP Certification Review, and the Masters Certificate in Project Management Practices

Specialized certificate programs have been developed including Drug and Alcohol Counseling, English as a Second Language and Fundraising.
